Most Preferred Employers in UAE – Part 1

Are you looking for a career in Dubai, UAE?

Companies in UAE can be mainly classified into 3 categories:

  • Family Owned Local Groups
  • Government Companies /Public Listed Companies
  • Multinational companies having their representative offices based only in free zones

Most of the businesses in retail and trading are carried out by the family owned local groups; by franchising international brands and labels.  Government companies or public listed companies are primarily into oil & gas sector, telecommunication and real estate development.

The following list is an attempt to list the most preferred employers in UAE based on common public impression emerged over a period of time, on the strength of the Employer brand and the respect and trust earned by these companies in the long run.  The list covers industries like property development, IT, hospitality, telecommunication, retail and services:

3.       Abhu Dhabi National Hotel Companies: http://www.adnh.com

Established in 1978, ADNHC covers all sectors of hospitality right from ownership and representation of 5-star hotels in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai. Aramex, a transportation and logistics services company is headquartered in Jordan. It provides a variety of express, logistics, freight forwarding and domestic distribution services.

The largest investment company listed on Dubai Financial Market, has its presence in UAE and Middle East

8.       Arabtech: http://www.arabtecuae.com

Another major player in construction industry, Arabtech established more than 35 years has to its credit many construction projects in all sectors of real estate and infrastructure.

9.       Emaar: http://www.emaar.com

The builder of Burj Khalida, Emaar properties has its presence in around 30 countries. Emaar’s activities include property investment and development, property management services, education, healthcare, retail and hospitality sectors, as well as investing in financial service providers.

10.   Etisalat: http://www.etisalat.com

Etisalat is a UAE based telecommunications company, with operations in seventeen countries across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
